The LPT
Professional Model is intended for professional, collegiate, and
high school pitchers. This is the "Ferrari" of all pitching
targets. If you want the best, you want the LPT Professional
model. A pitched ball, hitting the premium baseball glove
leather target, produces a dynamic and authentic catcher’s mitt
“snap” sound that pitchers love to hear. The target has also been
designed to easily track the precise ball-to-target impact location
of every pitch. Because the target is padded, on most pitches you can clearly see
an impression in the leather where the ball hits the target. The
target does not get dotted with multiple impressions because the
impact force of each pitch "blows out" the previous impression and
creates a new mark in the leather. This unique visual feature
provides instant and accurate feedback on the quality of every pitch
and helps a pitcher fine-tune their release point, leading to
improved consistency and pin-point control. Displayed on the
leather face is a U graphic which outlines the strike zone border
and highlights the optimal locations for a pitch to be delivered.
Padding is installed behind the leather and sewn together in a 6
inch horizontal and vertical grid pattern to create smaller focus
zones within, and just outside of, the strike zone. Material
shrinkage from the sewing process forms the standard 17" wide strike
zone. Grommets in the four corners of the target allow attachment
by Velcro® straps from a netted screen or support frame. The
product comes with two Velcro® attachment straps and a powerful
Self-directed Training Program designed to dramatically improve
fastball command. Suitable for baseball and softball.
Minor defects in the leather are normal.
